What size should I order?
We always recommend ordering a standard size dress for postpartum customers.
To determine your best size, use your current bust and hip measurements and order one size up. This way, you can have the dress taken in closer to your event for the best fit.
Alternately, if you prefer to not order one size up, you can purchase extra fabric for added flexibility. You can purchase the additional fabric from our website here for $10 per yard. Please note that fabric is non-returnable. However, if you end up not needing it, someone else in the wedding party may be able to use it.
It is difficult to know exactly how your body will change after the baby is born so it’s always good to have options for having your dress altered.
Style Recommendations
If you are recently postpartum or will have only given birth a month or so before the wedding, a Maternity Style could be a great solution since you only need your bust, under bust, and hip measurements to determine your best size.
If it's been more than a few months since the baby was born and you want something a bit more form-fitting, we recommend checking out some of our Mesh styles, as these styles may be a bit more comfortable for nursing.
Our stretch fabrics do take on dye a bit differently than our chiffon fabrics (what most of our dresses are made of), so make sure to order a swatch in the color you are looking at to make sure the color difference is okay with your bride.
