If you need to order a non-maternity style, we offer a list of styles that are considered maternity friendly that can be custom made to maternity measurements.
Please remember that non-maternity styles aren't designed for pregnancy, so you may need some adjustments for comfort. For instance, you might prefer the dress without boning—a change a local seamstress can make if needed. If your dress needs alterations after you receive it, we offer some alteration reimbursements for custom size dresses to help cover the cost. For more information, click here. Just keep in mind that custom-sized dresses are non-returnable.
How To Take Your Measurements
To custom order a maternity friendly style you will need to provide your bust, waist, hips, height, and hollow to floor measurements. For instructions on how to measure your bust, hips, height, and hollow to floor, please refer to our size chart page.
For your waist, measure around the fullest part of your belly and add 1 inch (or 2.5 centimeters for international customers) for every 4 weeks leading up to your event. For example, if your belly measurement is 33 inches at the widest point and your event is in 16 weeks, add 4 inches (10 centimeters) and input 37 inches as your waist measurement at checkout.
These extra inches or centimeters allow room for growth in your dress. However, it's important to note that we can't predict exactly how much your body will change—you may experience more or less growth than anticipated.
What if I need to order a different non-maternity style?
If you have a different non-maternity style in mind, you can custom order the dress using the same instructions as above. However, we can't guarantee we'll be able to make the dress. Please contact our customer service team a few days before you plan to order (we recommend ordering 4 months before the event) and provide the following information:
Style Name
Exact Event Date
Current bust, waist, and hip measurements
We will do our best to help you determining how many extra inches or centimeters you'll need to add and what will be needed to get the order placed. Keep in mind that your dress will likely still need significant alterations and custom sizing is non-returnable.
