We work very hard to ensure consistency for each of our dresses and because of this, we are not able to make changes to the measurements that we use to make our standard size dresses.
If you tried a standard size dress and maybe it was too long or was just a bit too big, we recommend going with the standard size you tried and having a seamstress alter it as needed.
If you have tried a standard size and found it to be too short or too small, you may consider opting for custom sizing for a better fit. Custom sizing is available for Adult and Junior Bridesmaid Dresses, Bridal Gowns, and Mother of the Bride Dresses. With custom sizing, the dress is cut to match the bust, waist, hips, height, and hollow to floor measurements provided.
Please keep in mind that we never recommend ordering a custom size using the measurements of a standard size dress, so even if you fit into an A12 and only want a few changes, ordering a custom size dress with the exact measurements of the A12 won't guarantee your custom dress will fit.
The reason behind this is that standard sizing has some ease or comfort room built in that is not reflected on the size chart. So be sure to read about our Custom Sizing first and use your personal measurements if you decide to go with custom sizing!
